Doing my usual reminder of this. For those who donโt know, Iโm totally blind. When you add a photo without alt text, all I hear via my screen reader is โimageโ if you add a description, itโll be read out to me & other blind folks. Thank you ๐ฉต

Settings > Settings & Privacy > Accessibility > Turn on Image Description reminder โ Everytime you add an image, youโll be reminded to add alt text, which is read aloud to blind twitter users via our screen readers. Otherwise that cool picture yiu added is just โimageโ ๐ฅฒ
If someone posts edited nude photos of you online via Photoshop/AI, contact stopncii.org, submit the original photo and the edited photo, and they'll remove all said photos of you, no questions asked. Let promote safer spaces online for women and girls online.

Twitter as a site might be less functional as it was previously, but the alt text function still works. Please use it to describe your images for blind / low vision folks. Seeing it used less & less these days and itโs super frustrating.
