Let's see something: if you believe Senator Schumer should resign, then like this tweet. Let's send him a message.
BERNIE ON THE *DEAL* with Centrist Dems: “That is a totally meaningless gesture. You can get 100 votes here and it won't mean anything because the House is not going to take it up.”
I’m so fucking sick of weak-ass Democrats who refuse to see that the GOP is not a political party and is, in fact, a terrorist organization. Stop trying to negotiate with terrorists. It’s not hard. That’s why so many people fall for the “both sides are the same” bullshit.
if democrats want to retain any amount of integrity they need to immediately vote out chuck schumer as party minority leader
Bernie Sanders just said it plain: “Tonight, Democrats voted with Republicans to raise healthcare premiums for 20 million Americans and pave the way to kick 15 million off Medicaid. 60,000 will die every year, so the rich can get a trillion-dollar tax cut.” This was a betrayal…
NO ONE GETS TO TELL ME THAT MY RAGE OVER THE DEMOCRATS CAVING TO TRUMP ISN’T VALID. EAT SHIT.
So be it. Chuck Schumer will be fired in 2026.
There is not going to be an ACA vote in December lmao
Honestly, this is likely as good of a deal as the Democrats are going to get. Reinstates fired federal workers. Prevents admin from re-firing them. SNAP funding for a year, and an ACA vote in December. Voters are already blaming the GOP for the ACA - make them vote against it.
Chuck Schumer is not built for this moment.
Ro is right it’s well past time to replace Chuck Schumer
Please don’t think this beltway game of having retiring Dem senators vote yes while everyone else votes no is going to shield leadership from the end result. We see what is happening and can’t be fooled by those games.
Schumer will take the brunt of whatever anger there is over this deal even as he votes no. His refusal to even say who he voted for in the NYC mayoral race only fuels the idea that he’s not really leading either way
Senator AOC has never looked greater.
Medicare for All. No PAC money. Childcare $10 a day. Double housing. Anti-corruption agenda. 1,000 trade schools. Modern factory & care jobs. No bombs to Israel. I call it new economic patriotism.
Only voting for Democrats who support Medicare for All in 2026, 2028, and beyond.
We’re not going to “fix the Democrats’ brand” by doing TikToks or launching podcasts. The brand is a direct reflection of the strength of our elected officials. If we want to purge our weak branding, we have to purge the weak Democrats. I’m looking forward to a robust primary…
The fact that none of the 8 Dems are up for re-election in 2026 is a pretty good sign @SenSchumer engineered the surrender
America deserves better.
The Senate votes 60-40 to advance a bipartisan deal to end the longest government shutdown in U.S. history. Eight Democrats broke with their party to back the deal, which fully funds SNAP through September but does not extend Affordable Care Act subsidies.
🚨 BREAKING: Rep. Ro Khanna just called for new Democratic leadership in the Senate, saying “Senator Schumer is no longer effective and should be replaced.” The old guard’s time is up.
Schumer rightfully getting a lot of flack. But Durbin should be getting just as much flack. He's the Senate whip. His job is to whip votes to hold the line. Yet he just voted to cave to Trump and allow healthcare premiums to skyrocket. Both need to step down from leadership.
Just pointing out that Hakeem Jeffries got TWO HUNDRED AND TWELVE House Democrats to hold the line. Not one House Democrat cracked. Not one House Democrat caved. I’m going to remember that.
