X-Files: The Truth is Out There - An Old School MTG Event
Just spent a weekend getting 1000+ Sorcery cards signed (mostly foils), and the art + card quality differences are astonishing. As a long time Magic fan/collector, I'm routinely ☹️ in their quality and direction towards AI and other nonsense.
I think people care less about universes beyond then they do the terrible print quality compared to other tcgs

Just finished listening to this (after a meetup), and loved all the stories. Congrats to @dfirthbard on the epic original art! I'm now looking forward to multiple weekends in 2025 with all the usual cast and crew that make this community great.
#4 is indeed not something worth collecting/investing in, but nothing about what happened this week is even related to WotC. That said, I welcome everyone dumping off 1/2/3 to the rest of the OS community. We'll keep playing those cards until we're all dead.
If you have an extensive Magic collection, I would immediately think about an exit plan for the following cards. 1. Duals 2. Power 3. Old School 4. EDH staples that are more than $30-40 I firmly do not believe that WotC will hold onto the reserve list. More reprints inbound.
