“What Football?” I asked. I genuinely had no idea a now-apparently big match was on today; yet the disbelieving reaction of others aboard was as real as my happy ignorance. Anyway. @GWRHelp to Totnes; then @southdevonrly not as heritage but as intended: a branch line, for travel.

The exclusion of Jeremy Corbyn from the PLP is an insult not only to his constituents who voted for him as a Labour MP, but to the millions of people — from all walks of life, but especially my generation — his leadership gave hope to.
It’s very fitting that British people could forgive the PM for corruption, authoritarianism and criminal negligence, but drew the line at him going for post work bevs when no one else could.
What did Keir's speech really offer to people living through the worst crisis in a generation, on low wages, unable to make ends meet? This moment calls for a vision of radical change, not more tinkering around the edges of a broken system.
“People still want to come to conference and discuss the ideas, because climate breakdown hasn’t stopped just because @Keir_Starmer doesn't want to do anything about it.”
“We’ve got to develop policies that can empower and enthuse people, what Keir Starmer is doing doesn’t cut it” Speaking from The World Transformed, @jeremycorbyn, @DawnButlerBrent, @labourlewis & @graceblakeley outline their disappointment with the current Labour leader.

If it is undemocratic to stop people sending their children to private schools then the only solution is to make them available to all. No selection. No fees. Integrate them for true freedom of choice.
It would be undemocratic to stop people from choosing to send their children to private schools. However, all state schools should have high standards. I went to an Independent school. So maybe I’m a little biased. People should have the right to choose their children’s education
We appear to have the wrong people in our Govt… they don’t appear to foresee the bleeding obvious. And they appear to lie.
