That’s it devs, we’re done. We’ve officially been replaced by a website that programs what ever you tell it. 🔗 debuild.co Source: reddit.com/r/blackmagicfu… #CodeNewbies #100DaysOfCode
For anyone worried, I can’t even get Alexa to understand my accent. Your job will be safe for a very long time
😅Good job, Cyris! The host is down now. We're safe.
Interesting but guessing this can only handle a certain level of complexity( try putting a hard programming problems into a sentence for example - not easy) - still be interesting to see how it develops, how one can utilise applications to automate certain programming tasks
Oh finally we can relax! "Create a downloader for a group of Satellites orbiting around the earth, The Specifics are...."
No hooks, class components.. nah I think I’ll keep my job! Thanks 👋
Many people say that this technology (fascinating by the way), will leave the frontend / backend devs out of work, it seems to me that it is not. This technology removes the barrier to entry to practice and learn a programming language... (1/2)
Didn't we hear this 25 years ago when Microsoft released Visual Basic and you could go from having to know arcane c/c++ MFC code to just dragging and dropping ui elements and create a program in real time. People said technology would soon replace the need for coders...
im more concerned that it automagically knows what my balance is, and how to give away all the money!!!! nice work
very interesting. but can it make the button square? red background...
I hope this site meets 10-15 yrs job requirement, troubleshoots and deploys itself? 😅
I would love it if all Product managers start using it, for anything that they believe is "just a 2 minutes, straightforward change", so that they may realise that it's not I would love watching them tell this tool, how 5 other things apart from their requirement were "obvious".
That looks really interesting! How long did it take you to get it to this point? :)
How does this handle the “That’s not what I’m looking for AT ALL” response from the end user 🤣
Some thing like this for writing test cases is very usefull.
But that website was built by devs, so go and create the next innovation :-)
If you have ever worked with a UX Designer this type of thing would never scare you :) the “interesting” specs that get produced would not be supported by tools like this for hire a while. #myjobissafe #codingisfun #notafraidofskynet
Honestly, it needs to be advanced-AI based to actually be able to program anything. We're talking a decade from now. Great work though
Yeah that doesn’t seem like a very enterprise level app though :D Seems very interesting though! I’ve only started seeing these recently.
