It will never not be funny when a PR firm does a full court press about how eager a VC is to meet... and then their admin gets involved, and they come back offering a 17 minute meeting at the investor's lobby, or their doctor's office waiting room, in 6 to 9 months

I love this take

The most underrated PR hack: Adopt an abundance mindset. Between the sheer number of publications out there and the human capacity for creative ingenuity, there’s always a home waiting for your pitch out there.

Before digital rolodexes, PR mavens built media lists from scratch, ensuring deep audience knowledge. Today's tech-savvy world can still benefit from this meticulous approach.

HAHAHAAHAH

I live for the awkward "please clap" moments as these product announcements tbh. I would read 3,000 words on junior marketing staff getting performance reviews on whether they clapped loud enough

valid!

When I'm asked to send over Qs ahead of an interview, it's frustrating. But it's 10x more frustrating when a PR asks for that when THEY pitched the story!

solid tip!!! #pr

Seeing a rising trend of pitched joint interviews with a VC and one of their portfolio companies. This is done enough at conferences, and is usually painfully boring for all involved. Save it for the branded podcast.

Bless up.

We need to have more respect for PR & comms. It is not fluffy marketing BS that can be handed to an agency or intern. If done right, it can move the needle for your company. It will reach investors, talent, and customers. Do not half-ass it, if done right, it is worth it.

Can I challenge who will ACTUALLY use this? open too opinions here. #chatgpt cnn.com/2023/06/15/bus…

#Marriage is telling your husband of the 30 thousand T-shirts he owns, you would opt to throw THAT specific one away (which by the way is see through). He then puts it on immediately.
