#2: Downside to tiny agency: reactive headspace + not a single avatar. Also, $100k/yr can easily keep you from $100k/mo, at least for engineer-types not super cash motivated.
1 of a few: We started as an agency, years ago, then cobbled together code we needed into a frankenstein. It was a mess. All bootstrapped, but informally ad-hoc thrown together code, between working on agency client work. Upside to starting as agency: Close to client's needs.
