Exactly one year later and with the same amount money. Today is the first day of my 12th year in the US. I stayed five years in @uarizona and 6 years in @michiganstateu. An experience totally beyond my imagination in 2009, and I am happy with it.
I flew to the US on 2008-08-08 with $2000 in my pocket to pursue my Ph.D. I remember the date because It was the opening day of the Beijing Olympic Games. Today marks my 12th year's stay in the States. An incredible journey for me.
