The macOS landscape has changed a lot since we launched the first version of Sketch. But we still believe that nothing comes close to a native app. So this week, we're celebrating truly native Mac apps. And if you love Mac as much as us - we want to hear from you! 🙌

So I got an AP unit from IIHS crash car to see the "inside the AP" crash test and all I see is darkness, huh? So I closely examined crashtest videos and what do I see in every one of them? Blocked sensors! EuroNCAP, IIHS, you name it, they all have it apparently on impact side
arguably in real world every time such a system works as designed - the crash outcome/probability of injury is decreased (or not? how do we know without official tests?) Yet this appears to be totally ignored by the test protocols? You may wonder how do I know about it?
The crash test protocols apparently are designed to only test mechanical strength of the car body. This is of course important, but it fails to take into account intelligent active safety measures like say active suspension: youtube.com/watch?v=nh6xFg…

Some weekend pondering The other day there was a side discussion in RTR comments about crash tests and their relation to real world safety, probability of injury and whatnot Now here's another thing you probably did not know: Testing protocols deliberately cripple safety systems

Facebook’s SDK is once again causing numerous iOS apps to crash on launch. If you’re still voluntarily putting code from a company that “moves fast and breaks things” into your app, then I would seriously consider not doing that 🙂 github.com/facebook/faceb…
Phew! I’m glad this made it into the Catalyst Messages app in Big Sur.
