All my sympathies are with him. But the real issue is that we tend to ignore such problems when others go through them — we only understand and feel the pain once we experience it ourselves.

The government should stop giving permanent jobs. All babus should have a fear of losing their jobs, and promotions must be based on performance, not years of service.
