£423bn has been stripped from the NHS. Public services have been deliberately dismantled and underfunded by successive governments. This is why hospitals are leaking; this is why doctors are leaving. Austerity was a decision, fairly paying doctors £23/hr can be one too.

The only person covering doctors work should be those with a primary medical qualification. Not someone with a 2 year, one day a week course and some "experiance" Patients deserve better We cant allow doctor replacement to continue. I will fight against it.

Totally agree. It also isn’t elitism if you change the word “nurse” in the below sentence to “doctor” Patient safety is indeed paramount

The ECHR doesn’t prevent the UK from deporting migrants, but it does stop governments from crossing moral lines. It protects against torture, family separation, unlawful detention, and state abuse. It’s not about blocking borders, it’s about upholding justice.

I keep saying it. Doctors are being replaced by ACP's. Why do they need these posts when doctors are out of work and can't get into training posts? When you cant see your GP or get a hip replacement and you end up seeing an ACP, remember this and @wesstreeting who allowed it.

The Trust executive told me the reason for receiving more than 500 applications for each clinical fellow (doctor) job is the lack of funding for new posts. Meanwhile, there are pages full of ACP jobs on the NHS Jobs website.

Why are doctors being replaced by non-doctors? Non-doctors are ANPs, ACPs, PAs, practitioners, clinicians etc Non-doctors do not have the knowledge, qualifications or training to replace doctors It's unregulated And it's unsafe

The next bit is a farce "Basic anatomy of the abdomen" I'm sorry but if ANYONE is going near my abdomen with a knife I'd expect a bit more knowledge than "basic" Desirable experience as an ACP So, no experience as an ACP and Basic anatomy knowledge......
