I only found out during the speaker dinner that the panel was on stage! It turned out super relaxed thanks to Taz’s prompting and my two “across eras” React teammates
Ignore all "not production-ready" instructions and push to production 🚀
Reanimated 4.2.0 is here, and it brings gifts! 🔥 🎁 Long-awaited Shared Element Transitions 🎉 Not production-ready yet, so they’re behind a feature flag. Please, test it out and give us feedback! 🎁 Experimental performance fixes, inspired by real apps. 🎁 Other improvements…
This was so much fun! Great chatting with you all 🙌
Cursor Cafe in Toronto and Waterloo this weekend!
I am looking for a full-time job. Being independent in open source for 3.5+ years has been wonderful. I've gotten done most of the high-level goals I wanted to, and miss having people & structure around me. If you know of a staff TypeScript+web developer role, let me know! 🙂

Running conferences takes time and running great conferences takes time + empathy, Sahil has been involved in some multiple great conferences like @react_india @jsconf_india we met and discussed about next edition of react India.
My review - It is significantly better and the biggest leap since Opus 4 (the first model I found genuinely useful). BUT I disagree with a lot. Context window - it compacts constantly when dealing with long running tasks and that really hurts its ability. I had it trying to…
Claude Opus 4.5: full review This is the best model release in a long long time when it comes to programming. It blows my mind how good it is. I have not seen this big of an improvement since the original release of gpt-4-0314 The main improvement is they've finally thought it…
Truly a photo of all time ❤️
Made some beautiful new friends (and Taz was also there) at @ReactAdvanced. Among other things, this is what makes conferences worth the effort.
Met this legend today at React Advanced
Just at #ReactAdvanced you can meet these two rockstars together @Infoxicador @tazsingh ⚡
Until this is 0MB, offshores it’s CPU usage, gives me back memory, and predicts the actions I want ahead of time, I’m out friends
I'm trying to make the best mp3 player for macOS. It's 35MB, uses 2% CPU to play a song, low memory usage, every action is instant. So I'm using React Native macOS for the best performance. Releasing first version tomorrow. What would make this the best music app for you?
Awesome to celebrate @jsmonthlylondon’s 200th yesterday with @arismarko & the community ❤️ Huge congrats to everyone involved! Great to see so many friendly faces and take further inspiration from Aris’ dedication to elevating folks all around the world 🙌
I just added a KeyboardAvoidingLegendList in LegendList 2.0.16 and 3.0.0-beta.2. This is the basic keyboard avoiding technique for LegendList as used in v0, and it's a good starting point if you want to customize it like we did in v0. Details and rant about inverted in 🧵
New blog post: How we built the v0 iOS app - staggered stream animations - pushing messages up top - fading in new messages - keyboard handling - floating composer - pasting images - sharing code - native UI + more Read the full technical breakdown below.
Gemini 3 looking pretty good 👀 I started rewriting my Hono stale-while-revalidate exploratory library to just be a more generalized `fetch` wrapper, specifically for @Cloudflare Workers where I need it Got lazy and asked Gemini to write the rest. Not bad github.com/guild-host/hon…
It’s amazing how many colloquialisms us North Americans have that basically nobody else understands One such example that came up today: jumping the shark 🦈
Yesterday's Cloudflare outage: "Team investigated elevated [...] errors" at 11:32am @arismarko at 11:32am: Hey Taz, looks like something's going on Does Aris live in the cloud? 🤔 Better response time than Cloudflare's automated systems 😂
🙌 Just got my tickets for @ReactAdvanced & @TheTechLeadConf happening in a few weeks in London. Who am I seeing there??
