@samaaron @overtone Makes sense. Question is whether that maps onto the way things actually are in perception itself.
@jennifer_judge The implicit notions are represented by mutable state - i.e. time flows, and the explicit notions are immutable signposts.
@jennifer_judge In @Overtone we have both implicit and explicit representations of time - both are useful in different contexts.
@samaaron Current issue is whether we have to have explicit representations of time or not, and if so how that might come about
@jennifer_judge Interesting! Is he describing them as immutable or mutable objects? Also, can the act of perceiving a time alter/affect it?
