Take it in. This breathtaking #HubbleFriday view shows the spiral galaxy NGC 976. It’s located 150 million light-years away, in the constellation Aries. Discover more: go.nasa.gov/3rhUICP

Going with the flow 💧 In space, we get a unique look at fluids, and we’re taking advantage of that in @Space_Station experiments! Researchers use surface tension to study diseases in microgravity and examine small capillary forces controlling liquids.
It never gets old: the sound of wind on another planet. @NASAPersevere made this audio recording with its SuperCam instrument. 🎧 Headphones on and volume up! Hear more from Mars at go.nasa.gov/37ec6PF
The "wings" of the Butterfly Nebula may appear to be covered in snow & ice in this Chandra and Hubble image, but looks can be deceiving. The wings are actually scorching hot regions of gas at temperatures over 20,000 °C that are traveling at more than 950,000 kilometers per hour.

NASA and other international space agencies monitor the Sun 24/7 with a fleet of spacecraft that study everything from the Sun's atmosphere to its surface & even peers inside the Sun's core using special instruments.
