[phi takes naja, just a little worried about their husband's raising voice hurting her ears. not that they could ever blame him, of course. the two are ushered down the hall.] "In there, sir."
[quiet and thankfully short. once landed, phi thanks their lovely ride before practically vaulting out of the ship with yoshi in tow.]
[phi rushes back, not saying a word as they pull yoshi (and by extension naja) towards the ship. no time to waste.]
I'll see if [hotel owners] can give us a lift. [they aren't exactly qualified to drive and he certainly is in no shape to.] wait here, I'll just be a minute.
wha-? [a half asleep phi is up in a heartbeat, throwing on their coat and moving to grab the baby.] who's awake? Oh gods, is Talox awake?
[they're not sure when they should tell yoshi what they found when they went back out in the woods. after all, they'd taken care of the body, so what harm would it be in him not knowing who it was? but they can't lie forever.]
I think they would tell you if there was a change. [what kind of change they would not say. moving closer, they start braiding naja's mass of hair, humming thoughtfully.] sal's with him, isn't he? he'd certainly let us know.
I think it's alright if we get to rest a little now and then. [they're watching the two of them, the ghost of a smile upon their lips. it really was a dream come true, wasn't it?"
She never gets tired, does she? [gods, if only. phi can't even imagine what that's like.]
