A team of secondary students from our Sports Committee, ABC, grade 10, and the Marine Club have teamed up to put on a 2 day event to raise money for those affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria.

Our students were able to raise a total of ¥170,000 which clearly exceeded their target amount (¥50,000)! Soon they will be sending the money to the organizations in Pakistan and assembling care packages for the slums in Nepal.

Lab work is an integral part of the chemistry experience. It allows students to explore chemical concepts, view changes in matter, and acquire scientific skills in an atmosphere that mimics a professional scientific environment.
In summary: (1) Family time is limited—cherish it. (2) Friend time is limited—prioritize real ones. (3) Partner time is significant—never settle. (4) Children time is precious—be present. (5) Coworker time is significant—find energy. (6) Alone time is highest—love yourself.
