Voice acting for this Stay Awhile, because Zul'jan's voice work is phenomenal. Definitely feels like a really clear set-up for 12.1 and the datamined Atal'Utek zone/raid.
...Ho boy, Zul'jan sitting alone at the edge of the zone, ominously staring at Atal'Utek. Not at all foreshadowing anything, surely.
Why we didn’t get a toy that put Argus back in the sky I’ll never know, it’s one of the coolest visual things wow ever did. I remember popping on in 2017 during my yearly attempts to get into the game, seeing it in the sky, and wondering wtf was going on
Anyways Valeera's entire backstory is cringe and contrived because it presumes Thrall allowed the same slave practices he suffered under (insane) and also drawing a 16 year old like this was wild (this was 2008 bro lol)
It’d be so narratively boring too, they’ve done the “character with harder edges than their peers spirals into complete villainy and becomes a loot piñata” spiel too often for it to have any staying power at this point. Making him work as a lasting ally is way more interesting.
