I used to listen to podcast episodes where business owners would talk about how hard it was to set a boundary around checking emails. I used to roll my eyes and think 'get it together, it's not that hard.' Now I'm that person. And it IS hard. Ahk.
There were some classes in high school where, instead of doing the actual work, I would help the teachers edit papers. Now that's what I'm doing with my client's sales page. I don't love writing copy from scratch but making their words better? YES PLEASE. Full circle moment ๐คฃ
The goal was to move into a bigger place later this year. Well now it's to move ASAP due to the dang neighborhood kids constantly harassing us and the parents refusing to parent. So excuse me while I take my hustle up by 10 ๐
Pokรฉmon battles with Axel have become my favorite part of the morning๐
The only resolutions I have for 2024 are to take Axel to comicon and a ren fair. And you best believe they're happening.
Between me and Santa, Axel got a lot of Pokรฉmon cards๐ We're going to learn how to play together and I'm so excited. I've always wanted to learn and doing it with my little man just means the world to me๐
Y'all I'm so excited for Axel to open his gifts ๐ He's been wanting to learn how to play Pokรฉmon (the card game) for SO LONG. He's gonna be so pumped!
Had a 30 minute meeting scheduled with a client yesterday. We ended up talking for over 2 hours geeking out about marketing and she hired me to take the lead on planning and executing her upcoming launch. I'm terrified but also SO FREAKING EXCITED.
This has been the worst experience at @SDCAttractions. We're locals and come here a lot. I've never experienced the awful service we experienced here today. Between the disrespect by workers to chasing information because no one communicates, it's been awful.
Embracing the suck is HARD. I've been telling my clients to step out of their comfort zone but I've been a hypocrite avoiding it. So I finally did it today and MAN. It'll get easier, but right now it sucks๐ ๐ ๐
Dude the eyes in My Happy Marriage on Netflix are GORGEOUS.
Any other nerds out there relate every single thing to their work? Sees cheesy romantic interaction: OH THAT'S A MARKETING LESSON sees overdramatic character in an anime: MARKETING LESSON gets my kid excited about eating peas: I JUST SOLD HIM ON EATING PEAS. MARKETING LESSON.
