Just walked through London’s West End on a rainy Friday night and I’m nearly back home in Hackney. No guns, no knives, no armed police visible. Nothing is perfect but, God, this is a brilliant city. Don’t believe the lies.
Let's face it. Carla Connor (by Alison King) has always been Corrie's asset. Most people like her, the GA. When she is not in successive episodes, the ratings drop. Maybe Alison has not even realized that for herself (sometimes) or how much people love her. #swarla #alisonking
Betsy may very well being a spoilt brat when she wants, but how can you blame for wanting her family back if she thinks that Carla has dumped her mum.. C’mon, shouldn’t be hard to understand. #swarla
Today’s episode floating in-between boring and just ridiculous now. Everything Carla said has turned out to be true, Lisa&Betsy are in *danger*, Lisa is still clueless and even the plan of fleeing to Spain shouldn’t work anymore because the gang knows she’s alive, right? #Swarla
Based on what we know, we’re not getting a reunion as quickly as we’d like. They’ll drag it out for months while they work through guilt. Carla willthink that the tragedy happened because she left them alone with Wrecky, isn’t she? And Lisa has plenty to feel guilty for. #Swarla
You can’t ship #Swarla and hate Lisa. We have watched her suffering enough in 2025 and should understand why she’s so messed up. And before anyone starts, Carla’s hurt has caused me physical anguish. I love Carla to bits, but her pain was caused by Becky, not Lisa.
I couldn’t force myself to see Corrie. Maybe I’ll change my mind and watch it later, but the mix of discomfort/fury generated by this SL really ruins my mood. Even some of the scenes I have seen here have depressed me. Lisa wondering “how we got here” felt like salt on a cut.
The threat they’re under is just not believable. If they got that bit right, Lisa wouldn’t seem so dumb.
They should’ve just dragged Becky back for nostalgia and stopped pretending there was a plan. This whole “gang” storyline is a joke... what gang? Becky is constantly wandering around like nothing’s wrong, so what imaginary danger has she been yapping about that somehow scared…
Haven’t seen the episode yet, but judging by my timeline here the forecast of “deep sadness with frequent showers of frustration” was correct. #Swarla #Corrie

I heard of Maggie Smith passing before boarding a long haul flight. I celebrated her art with my favourite #Zeffirelli’s movie (which features my beloved @cher and @LilyTomlin). Rest in glory, Maggie.
