I really do wish that experience you're having doesn't go away. Affordability in money and time is shrinking. Maybe there will be an answer. I am not a medical patient, I'm fit and strong at 76. To walk the hills of course, I'd need to join a gym, neither of which I can afford.
Walking at golf changed my life. 1. Along with eating only slightly better, lost 35 lbs 2. I can now do any hike on earth without fear of elevation gain 3. It gives me time to think through shots & get over bad ones instead of rushing 4. Much more social 5. See the course fully

How many were playing golf without carts last century vs with carts this century? Heck, they used sand greens back then. Maybe they spread a blanket and caught a tan instead of sharing a ride with a buddy. I'm 76 and no longer able to walk 18. Golf carts extend my life's play.

Yeah Iโm with you. I donโt even have to be writing to lose myself in my imagination. Or maybe I am writing. Or maybe Iโm only imagining Iโm writing. *sigh*
Some say writing is a lonely profession, but to me, it's the best way to lose myself in the world of my imagination. Would you agree that writing can be lonely?
