Top 5 Lessons From My First #100DaysOfCode - A 🧵 I just completed the challenge and thought it may be helpful, especially for others just beginning the journey, if I create a thread to share my key takeaways. Spoiler alert: I learned far more than just Python💁♀️

Today, I attended my first conference @codelandconf! I learned lots and am blown away by how friendly and engaging the tech community is. It is going to take me a minute to process all of the great content. Starting a developer bootcamp 5 weeks ago was the best decision EVER.
When your class is discussing json and a classmate says “I can’t help but say Derulo in my head every time I see the word json” you take a quick 30 seconds to make something to send her because it’s Friday, it’s been a long week, and I love to laugh. 🤣 Happy Friday!!!
Did I fall off the face of the earth? Nope. Am I busy AF working through week one of my 16 week full stack programming bootcamp? Yup! And I'm thrilled to say my #100DaysOfCode journey as proven helpful. You guys...I am actually doing this!!!!
Currently taking a udemy course - 2022 Complete Python Bootcamp From Zero to Hero in Python by Jose Portilla. His breakdown of processes and explanations for how to logically find solutions...ooof Madone! THIS is the course I should have started with!!! #WomenWhoCode #Python
When a dear friend knows you are turning 45 and knows that you love a nice charcuterie board 😎 I’ll grab some wine and birthday dinner will be served!
I'm ditching the 100 Days of Code Python course by Angela Yu. I started out with a desire to learn Python, so that is where I am going to do. I don't have to keep doing something that I'm not excited about...because I'm my own boss. So there😎 #WomenWhoCode #pythonista #iamback
Round 2 Day 7: Finally feeling like getting back to work here. The Bootstrap section/course day I am currently working on is quite lengthy and I suspect it will take me a while to complete. You know me...trudging along over here! #100DaysOfCode #100DaysOfPython #WomenWhoCode
Round 2 Days 5&6: I am just not feeling the current material in this course. After finishing the Jinja project with Flask apps, today I started learning about Bootstrap, which seems way more my speed. Reminder: be kind to people 💙💛 #100DaysofCode #100DaysofPython #WomenWhoCode
Round 2 Day 4: completed the name card project for course day 56. Rendering static files, css files, and html files isn't too bad. Looks like tomorrow I'll dive into templating with Jinja in Flask applications. Excitement level = TBD #100DaysOfCode #100DaysOfPython #WomenWhoCode
Round 2 Day 3: Learning to render HTML files & static files using Flask. My biggest accomplishment today was solving Wordle on my second attempt...on 2/22/22. I mean you could *try* to be cooler than me but you are kind of wasting your time. #100DaysOfCode #100DaysOfPython
Round 2 Days 1 & 2: Learned about HTML and URL parsing in Flask. Also did some upgrades to the higher/lower game from earlier in the course. I found this section in credibly challenging...which I guess isn't anything really new 💁♀️ #100DaysOfCode #100DaysOfPython #WomenWhoCode
