The whole thing was trash unfortunately. The guy wasted months refactoring this thing into K8 for no good reason…. It was in the iot space and thing made no sense it was my second large scale iot project and used to raise these red flags

It’s the space, connectivity between device and server being such a problem. Time drift etc… The problem with iot is you need to engineer for a heavy write continuous environment. With potential for messages to get lost/not delivered etc.. There is a lot of standard solutions…
