I love it when the same people who think AI isn't good enough to meaningfully comment on their social media sh**posts ...also believe AI can build a bug-free, scalable, highly resilient system. Such delectable irony is seldom found in life.
Why is it such a foregone conclusion that once AI is actually capable of coding, that it will *replace* human mid level engineers? Why wouldn't the outcome be that we don't replace but we just produce 10x as much junk that nobody needs? That's mostly what ppl build anyway.
Fast and rushed are two different things. Just because you RUSH some sloppy garbage out where every caught exception is a noop, that doesn’t make you a fast developer A 400lb person running 20m circles around the grass inside a 400m track is not actually fast.
