Another “conspiracy theory” turns out to be true. Strange that Arizona requires proof of citizenship for state, but not federal elections 🤔
Welfare offices in 49 states are handing out voter registration applications to illegal aliens. No proof of citizenship required. nypost.com/2024/06/14/us-…
Day 24 of llm.c: we now do multi-GPU training, in bfloat16, with flash attention, directly in ~3000 lines of C/CUDA, and it is FAST! 🚀 We're running ~7% faster than PyTorch nightly, with no asterisks, i.e. this baseline includes all modern & standard bells-and-whistles: mixed…
«When my husband died, because he was so famous and known for not being a believer, many people would come up to me ― it still sometimes happens ― and ask me if Carl changed at the end and converted to a belief in an afterlife. They also frequently ask me if I think I will see…
The people who call Elon Musk racist for being against DEI are now mocking him for having a highly diverse workforce at Tesla without realising it actually proves his point: you don't have to have racist hiring policies like DEI for genuine diversity. You just need meritocracy.
The trade off for practicing DEI is merit
Quite incredible, the liberals are really not that liberal
The last presidential candidate to be removed from the ballots was Abraham Lincoln, by the democrats, because they wanted to keep their slaves.
If the establishment doesn’t want you to watch it, it’s definitely something you should watch.
CNN’s egregious interference with the Iowa GOP caucus is offensive. My CNN town hall with the voters here went so well that they cut it off early & then threatened our campaign with a cease-and-desist for posting it on YouTube, while Nikki Haley’s scripted CNN town hall from 6…
Tesla's capture of BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, and Audi market share has been wild. Curious to see 2023's end of year numbers. All Cars with Jon: youtube.com/watch?v=-zps3y…
It seems like a lot of libertarians and right wingers are pissed at RFK for being neither a libertarian or a right winger but that’s not his role. His role is to be the best liberal. To get liberals thinking about how evil the vax mandates were, how reckless the war in Ukraine…
Running Twitter is hard. I don’t wish that stress upon anyone. I trust that the team is doing their best under the constraints they have, which are immense. It’s easy to critique the decisions from afar…which I’m guilty of…but I know the goal is to see Twitter thrive. It will.
Imagine what the US media would be saying if this was Modi’s response to Muslim riots in India. Silence when the west gets tough on violent Islamic leftists trying to burn the country down.
If Republicans were smart, they would propose a bill to pay down student loans by seizing college endowments. The newly debt-free would be able to afford families, turning them Republican. And universities would pay for the debt they saddled students with, not taxpayers.
Tesla Megapacks are highly effective in addressing electricity demand spikes that cause power outages
Definitely need to improve Twitter’s dopamine/cortisol ratio!
So this already exists..are people upset @elonmusk is charging $8 now for new features to provide creators revenue or that subscribers/power-users also now get easily verified in a transparent process?
Truly changing the world in ways other companies are not even attempting. Defining the mission and sticking to it is crucial.
NEWS: @Tesla has released a new video showing their new Megafactory in Lathrop, California. Tesla: “Megafactory is capable of producing 10k Megapack units per year--that's equal to 50 fossil fuel peaker plants”
Clear articulation can make opposite viewpoints seem so dumb, and in this case rightfully so. Would love a well regulated debate format @lexfridman

This is why I never worry when a startup initially describes itself as "x for y." That doesn't automatically make it a derivative idea. Lots of truly new ideas were initially conceived in such terms. Maybe most.
It’s increasingly viewed as a sign of lack of self-regulation and/or not having anything truly important to do the next morning.
