Teachers don’t always need a new strategy, a new activity, or a new resource. Sometimes… what they need is some encouragement. They need to be reminded that they are professionals, that they are good at what they do, and that what they are doing every day really does matter.
Look for the good today. When you see the GOOD, look for the GOOD, expect the GOOD, you find the GOOD and... the GOOD finds you. Remember, how you choose to see the world determines the world you see.

In Week 1 of our study into the “Science of Happiness,” our 8th graders took a look at the current levels of happiness and figured out their signature strengths. For the next few days, we will be intentional about using them as we track our progress. @lauriesantos
I try to be extremely intentional with our classroom culture. We talk about it. We point it out when we see great examples of it. It truly has a snowball effect and helps the kids feel like they are a part of something much bigger than themselves. It provides consistency.
