Wild that I’ve lived on my own for 9 years now, but today is my last day as a free man. Excited to move in with my gf, but it will definitely take some getting used to. Hopefully not too much crying this time 😭

1/I’m absolutely devastated to see the images of Hazel Trembath gone. As a former student myself & the parent of a Grade 1 student there, I know what a special place Hazel is. This is heartbreaking. I’ve spoken with our Fire Department, our School District & senior city staff.
Just thought to myself how nice it is that it’s still not totally dark out after 10PM, and now I remembered it’s the longest day of the year. Happy summer, I guess?
My sleep schedule is all messed up. 7am and I still can’t fall asleep. Can’t wait until I’m back at work on Monday and doze off half way through my shift.

I was all ready to accept flying home today, but then a group of school kids just waved at me and said “ohaiyo gozaimasu” and melted my heart. I’m going to need to stay here another 6 months, thanks.
Going to bed knowing I’m spending about $100 on a single Pokemon figure in Akihabara tomorrow. I’ve never seen it below $180 (+shipping) so it’s a great deal, but adult me when I get home won’t be happy spending that much money.
Eating my 7-11 rice ball breakfast and watching Sunday morning anime while having no idea what the show is or what they’re saying. Life’s good.
