I can relate to a similar experience during my undergrad days. One of our faculty members published the work my batchmates and I did without giving us credit, partnering with her husband without our consent.
New Gem of Delhi hospital gossip. A consultant helped an mbbs usmle aspirant get projects and funding from icmr on a few studies. Conducted the study. Let the student present it. Then student ghosted. And recently found that they published the studies with a few peer nibbas.
Might have to reconsider Ketamine therapy in patients with a history of substance dependence disorders.

Got the opportunity to learn from the best in the field over this weekend.
I start off my Trauma and Emergency duty by sending all the dissociative patients who have occupied the beds in the holding area to the Psychiatry Department. 🙂 I am genuinely surprised by the considerable number of patients.
Witnessing a once-mute patient finding their voice after a lorazepam trial is an awe-inspiring feeling, the immediate results remind me why I love what I do.
Either I’ll end up writing this article about ECT tonight or this article will end me!
