Apps in ChatGPT - ToDo list. All the design was done in @paper. Detailed shots in the thread 🧵🧡

The reason conversational UIs are good is because you already know how to talk. No need to learn anything.
Practice problem solving — only then will you be a great designer. Think of a thing that frustrates you the most, get clarity on “is this something that frustrates a lot of people”. Start thinking the solution — don’t even touch the design, work out how everything works first.
Why I mean this: It’s natural for us to note down things we need (to-do list, etc), but it’s not natural for us to get that information in plain text. That’s the piece that we’re missing. No one has done a good job yet. Best UI is one that appears exactly when you need it.
Conversational UI's are the future. We are still missing a few pieces. Currently doing a research paper on it –– let me know if you want me to drop it. 👇

If you zoom in, you’ll actually see grains of paper on the card. It’s the details.

Design is so weird today. Why are we prioritizing landing pages over user flows and journey maps? It would be really cool to see how everyone works around the idea.
When your MacBook has been sitting for a while and you put it in your lap

you’re not a hopeless romantic babe you’re just hopeless — and i love that about you !
Bear is such a strong app. Native, beautiful, fast, web clipper, tags, backlinks. I much prefer opening it on mobile rather than Obsidian. I would love to see them make something similar to Obsidian Bases. I would love to see a Bear version of that.
