strong agree. i don’t get it why few designer are falling for this hype trap. you need a canvas to think and shape first. be it paper, figma, docs anything. think, nurture, visualise - first build - next
Figma is incredibly important. It allows you to think and prototype UI/UX quickly. Coding doesnt enable even 1/5 the speed of figma of iteration on this. You need to be able to try stuff. Throw things away. See how it looks. You can always tell when someone skipped this step and…

idk but @windsurf >> @cursor_ai for me. i tried building same app (meme software) using both cursor and windsurf. windsurf did better job at helping me build.
