Maybe stop referring to it as some kind of superhero perk when it’s an accessibility tool for her condition?
Serena Williams banned from wearing 'Black Panther' catsuit at future French Open tournaments: ind.pn/2LpBDrr
disabled/chronically ill people not being allowed to save a certain amount of money if we’re receiving disability financial aid is cruel and foul
Y’all better not start the “When will disabled people have their ‘Black Panther’ ‘Crazy Rich Asians’” Black and Asian disabled people exist and you can ask for inclusion w/o being problematic. ♿️
autistic people who shamelessly enjoy their special interests will always be one million times more likable than allistic people who mock them for liking something "cringey"
Do people realize how emotionally and mentally exhausting anxiety can be for people with anxiety?

Access for #disabled people is not a gift or charity. It’s the law. All too often, businesses expect appreciation and praise for obeying the law. Do they really expect disabled people to say: “Thank you for not discriminating against us.”?
Just saw a video of a disabled person doing their hair and the caption was something along the lines of “omg so inspirational!! 😍😍😍😍💖💖💖💖” Doing. Their. Hair. Y’all some weirdos for real.
anyways dont compare mental illness w physical disability unless you plan to express how both experience marginalization and abuse but even then they are really different experiences u just meed to respect that. Like its ok......people who arent you suffer too
abled tossers give disabled people shit for needing straws, all while posting "omg im sobbing" types of comments on inspoporny posts showing a disabled person using their mobility aids
Imagine ramps and elevators at every public location, at every subway stop, imagine sign language taught at every school, imagine captions and audio descriptions that work at every cinema, imagine if ableds were as passionate about accessibility as they are about banning straws.

Not all disabled people have supportive families. Not everyone has a dishwasher. Not everyone has the dexterity to wash a straw. Paper straws fall apart... they’re made of paper. Using your proximity to disabled people to silence them and then bash them is not a good look.
Ok stop there, reusable, flexible, dishwasher-friendly straws for disabled folks are a thing. My brother is disabled and we get a 10 pack of those and carry it with us when we go out. Paper straws are pretty sturdy too. You guys are getting mad over nothing.
I think the thing that really kills me about @Starbucks ditching straws is how blatantly performative it is. I have 4 Starbucks local to me. Not one of them has a recycling bin in their store. I’ve asked around and no one can point me to a location that does. Maybe start there?
“Let’s kill off those pesky disabled people.” —more appropriate translation.
