An incredibly powerful statement by Louise Adler in resigning as director of AWW. The reaction to Bondi threatens so much of what it means to be Australian and the freedoms that we have. Her warnings as to the future are scary. Hopefully somewhere sense will prevail.

The NSW Upper House Committee investigating aerial shooting of feral horses in Kosciuszko NP has just reported. The report supports the actions of the NSW Government and NPWS in controlling the massive and damaging population of feral horses in the NP. parliament.nsw.gov.au/lcdocs/inquiri…

Queensland's Great Dividing Range is in peril from industrial scale renewables. If people knew, they'd be outraged. Protecting intact forests IS climate action.

As Park neighbours we applaud what NPWS is doing to finally address this issue. Kosciuszko is a degraded landscape due to the terrible impact of these feral animals that have not been controlled for far too long.

Check out the incredible destructive impacts of feral horses on our alpine rivers in Kosciuszko NP. This aerial photo from Sept 2023 shows ~50 feral horses between Mosquito & Gurrangorambla Creeks. They are turning a national park into little more than a degraded horse paddock.

The damage that feral horses are doing is appalling! As park neighbours we applaud NPWS in their efforts to remove horses from the park one way or another. We need every tool available to save Kosciuszko.

Alarming aerial images have been publicly released by Airborne Logic showing the destruction caused by feral horses in Kosciuszko NP. Almost everywhere you look there are webs of horse tracks scarring what is meant to be a pristine landscape. We've pulled them together in a🧵👇

Destroy the hydrology of an area and you change frog habitat forever. These frogs only occur along the western margin of the Wet Tropics. The single greatest threat to their survival is industrial wind farm development.

The Magnificent Broodfrog doesn't stand a chance. Great way to help wipe out a species! I wonder what would happen if this was a mine site? The proposed Chalumbin, Upper Burdekin and Mount Fox Energy Park combined will consist of an additional 350km of new haulage roads on top of…

Fireflies live in forests and mangroves along the coast of NSW, QLD and the NT. Normally they grace the east coast for a short period each spring and summer. In a few months we'll be seeing these lovely creatures come out of the woodworks in a number of our reserves in FNQ.

We ground-truthed the site of Lotus Creek wind farm, Central QLD and found a thriving ecosystem: a large, healthy Koala population, as well as Greater Gliders, Macropods, Wallabies, Wallaroos and even a Carpet Python. Why must nature pay the price for the energy transition?

We ground-truthed Lotus Creek wind development, Central QLD, and were shocked at the thriving nature we found. Incredibly, this development has been approved. It should not proceed.

You MUST watch this video. What is happening in Queensland with industrial wind development is a true scandal. Some of the BEST KOALA HABITAT IN QLD IS BEING DESTROYED BY WIND DEVELOPMENT. It is beyond outrageous.
