Looking at the state of our media and their understanding of gamer, Chan, groyper, online, etc cultures, we are so fucked.
Seeing lots of people get this "spreading hate" thing wrong. Many are saying it was the suspect, Tyler Robinson, who said this about Kirk. In fact, both 1) the police report and 2) Gov. Cox said it was a family member who said this, not Robinson.
So if these documents are real there’s been a meaningful garbling of information. The family member said Kirk spread hate. Not Tyler Robinson himself.
The Robinson family “talked about why they didn’t like (Charlie Kirk) and the viewpoints he had” The family member also said “Kirk was full of hate and spreading hate.”
In December Rolling Stone kill a story of mine about groypers and Turning Point USA. Believe me, if I thought these things were connected in this shooting, I would be sitting here pitching that story to every media outlet, and not tweeting at you chucklefucks.
