Everyone talks about financially affording children but nobody is talking enough about emotionally affording children. I always wonder in families with a lot of children if every child’s emotional needs are met by the parents beyond them simply being fed and clothed.
as an “actual” private person, i can over confirm that people becomes very odd when they can’t figure you out or what’s truly going on in your life and beyond the surface. most importantly, normalize lying to people who ask too much about your private life. people be weird asf.
