Really enjoyed contributing to the @golaboxford report on 15 years of social outcomes partnerships (aka Social Impact Bonds). It got me thinking about how we @socfinuk got the first SIB going at Peterborough so wrote a blog on the story: socialfinance.org.uk/insights/the-t

Each and every one of us with a platform has a responsibility to correct others on the truth about asylum seekers claiming benefits and free homes. They can’t. They receive just £49 a week or £9 if given food. Only if and when they get refugee status can they claim or get a job.

Trying BlueSky following recent absurd UK coverage here. Come say hello @tobyecc there too!

Every few years, I search for this 2019 clip of Blair again. The bluntness of his ‚power is power!‘ doesn‘t only apply to geopolitics, but equally to energy policy & the delayed energy transition. Raw power. No longer a lack of technologies or knowledge.

A tone of disbelief pervades the UK Supreme Court decision striking down @SuellaBraverman's immigration policy. The word “surprising” – a euphemism for outrageous, absurd, or idiotic – is peppered throughout the document, notes @Nicholas_RL. bit.ly/3R1VHoK

Easily one of the most pioneering of programmes across government that aims for real #systemschange that not just involves people but is thought about with them throughout.
