So I went to a book club last Tuesday. It was nice! I had only been to one once before, same host. It was cute. Turns out they get shy around newbies. I was told they liked that I livened it up. Who else has been to one? #BookClub
Bummed out my Pure Barre got canceled cuz of the hurricane. Can't wait to go back. Cycle Bar was closed too. The whole block was. Shockingly one Starbucks was open! Though the other neighborhood one was not.

Holding doors for others shouldn’t have anything to do with sexes. It’s about good manners. I hold doors for whoever is behind me, irrespective. Chairs, I think people are more comfortable pulling their own out and sitting down. Unless they have physical difficulty doing so.
My take: men should hold the door for whoever's behind them, and pull the chair for anyone who needs help, not just women, and definitely not just because they're women.
I hold doors for people. I think it's sexist to give preference to one gender, particularly if you're doing it to get their attention. Do it to be a good person. Pulling out chairs is something I don't tend to do. Folks need to learn to push their chairs back in when they done!
