In cycling we tend to fixate on power. However IMO we should also consider the torque velocity relationship. Here are two efforts, both ~2 mins Effort 1: 488w, 91 rpm, 51Nm Effort 2: 387w, 63 rpm, and 58Nm Both efforts were 9/10 RPE
Extremely important. Torque and velocity are often completely forgotten. These two metrics are what separate a good esports rider from a good road rider. Esports require much higher Nm load for extended periods of time.
