This breathtaking imagery is neither generative AI nor computer graphics—but rather real physical liquids under a microscope, exhibiting "reaction-diffusion" behavior. These clips were created and filmed by artist Kamil Czapiga: cosmodernism.com (ig: cosmodernism)
Now that the latest Chrome version has WebGPU support I guess I can finally talk about this. A year ago @david_ar and @cornusammonis were developing a compute shader based Shadertoy alternative called compute.toys I already had a lot of fun making some toy projects 😳
This creature got caught in a tiny space wrapped with a system of portals. Luckily it's not sentient enough to realize how small this world is! google.github.io/swissgl/#Parti…

I started this GPU implementation of interacting particles and it's already blowing my mind! Have a look at the stuff I found! (Thread) #madewithunity #indiedev #Simulation
Over the last few weeks I was working on SwissGL, tiny JS graphics library with a single function that does everything. Demos: swiss.gl Code: github.com/google/swissgl
Particle Life, reimplemented using WebGL. Inspired by @tom_mohr_'s cool work (particle-life.com)
Particle system (inspired by @tom_mohr_ ) + ChatGPT to brainstorm ideas. Each particle has a keyword according to its color, click a cluster to show the keywords → Pose a question based on them → Compose an essay about it → Collect keywords from it → Loop
I'm fascinated by this simple formula to create bit fields that look like alien art: (x ^ y) % 9
I finished it! Here's the Particle Simulator version 1.0.0: lisyarus.itch.io/particle-simul… It has a built-in manual and a bunch of presets to help you get started. The code is completely open, the link to it is on the project page.
