Her attempts failed and I then contacted an ICICI Deputy Manager, RDC Ghaziabad. He attempted his best but the financial transaction didn't take place. He suggested the recipient of the cheques to contact his branch the next day, (an ICICI one).
It was, by and large, a mistake of the branch. However, the transaction didn't take place. I contacted another ICICI executive and incidentally, she was also on leave. However, she had assured me of a successful transaction.
On enquiry from a representative (incidentally on leave), it was learnt that the required financial transaction would take place in an hour as the FD accounts were।linked with the Savings account, and the executives in the branch shall do it without my visit.
On 16.11.2023, I issued two cheques and both were returned to me with the message on 18.11.2023, that the cheques were returned due to insufficient amounts.
They assured me that the FDs shall not be any hindrance in any further financial transaction with the Savings account. On this flaxibility, I allowed ICICI to open the FD accounts from my Savings amount.
