Braddock Stone in new home
FROSTBURG — Eight years after it was discovered in storage at Frostburg State University, the Braddock Stone will be publicly displayed on a permanent basis at the Frostburg Museum.
Edward Braddock, a 1750's British General, led 2,000 soldiers through Western MD. Along the way, a 1-ton, engraved stone was set up to serve as a "travel guide" and "road sign". It now resides outside of the Frostburg Museum. Photo from: RoadsideAmerica. (1/2)
