I have been puzzled why we pay VAT on our Energy as it is very much an essential. I discovered recently it has something to do with EU rules. My confusion now is why VAT has not been removed such that government can claim it as its 1st tangible Brexit benefit.
I had a large "Royal Mail signed for" letter put through my letter box this morning, What's my problem? 1) It was not signed for. 2) Wrong road. 3) The service someone paid for was not delivered. 4) I will likely be completing Royal Mail's job for them.
