Found an excellent teacher - archiesguitars.com. Been at it 6 wks doing blues progressions, chords bar chrds etc - cool stuff for an oldguy.
Been a while since I was here. Discoverd and excellent tchr 5 houses up the street . Lesson 1 tonight will be interesting to c how it goes.

So, got laid off last april. Considering starting a site for semi retired boomers like me. What should it contain? All suggestions welcome?

30 yrs ago when got my guitar I took lessons and found them boring in the extreme! Looking for lessons more new age with less music theory.
Been plucking on the strings for the last hour. Forgot how tender the unused fingers are until they redevelop callouses. Time 4 a Brk.
Been doing some research for on-line lessons and found bewildering array of options - one site with promise is learnacousticguitarchords.com
Have had an acoustic Guitar sitting in a corner for 35 Yrs. Have decided to dust it off and see if I can learn to Play :o)
