Gil Scott-Heron - Revolution Will Not Be Televised (Official Audio)
Other omissions in reviews of #OneBattleAfterAnother nothing about the Gil Scott Heron song quoted in the film and two film source inspiration materials, Patty Hearst (1988) and The Baader Meinhof Complex (2008), other than Battle of Algiers (1966).
One Battle After Another is good but no one has bothered to mention the Gil Scott Heron song references; that it should be a Spike Lee film- it feels like his and Leo is miscast. It’s good, but it’s not cinema history in the making. Let’s hope you all watch Battle of Algiers now.
