TypeScript turned 7 today! 🎂🎉 What better way to celebrate than with the TypeScript 3.7 beta? Now with... ➡ Optional Chaining ➡ Nullish Coalescing ➡ Assertion Functions ➡ Smarter Flow Analysis ➡ declaration + allowJs and more! devblogs.microsoft.com/typescript/ann…

Another release without private fields?? :( :( :(

Yaay! Null coalescing operators! I really missed these when I stopped using php/twig.

#private class fields support not yet in?

is it me or the list of new features reads like the track listing of an @The_Algorithm album 🤔

This is such a dream list of features, can't wait for this to release fully 😍

Hey @the_gisenberg that thing you pushed at TC39 for so long is finally available :)

finally optional chaining 👏🏻

Optional chaining!! 😍😍😍

Once again I get reminded that TS has the same birthday as me (with an offset of “a few” years…), and I couldn’t be happier.

Been waiting for these features for so long! Thanks for all the hard work the TS team has put in to make this a reality 😄

This is like a 1UP in my life! I waited two years for these features.

Really an amazing list of changes! I can't wait for them to be fully released. Gonna start playing around with the beta version! Great job @typescript .

going to enjoy deleting all those lodash gets

Happy birthday!! Started few months ago, already loving it. The docs are simply amazing

OPTIONAL CHAINING !! LETS GOOOO

Oooooo optional chaining

Optional chaining, finally!

Optional chaining. Oh sweet lord.

Great job!!!!!

Optional chaining ❤️

There is no mercy, we want all of them 😂

3.7 looks like a candidate for best release in last couple years

Bless the contributors and the wishlist becoming reality. Amen :)

Nullish coalescing: why settle on `&&` for what is essentially a short hand of the ternary operator? Groovy settled on `?:` which is closer to it. Is `&&` more idiomatic in JavaScript?

Ummmmm, yes please! :)

Optional chaining 😍

@_vovakulikov чё лайкаешь, ты на Дарте пишешь :)

Assertion Functions are going to be awesome for React Suspense :D

@ste2425 looks like it's time for an update!
