Very cool that our 1M LOC TS migration at @airtable inspired an even larger 3.5M LOC TS migration at @stripe! Congrats to the team at Stripe for pulling this off.
We were heavily inspired by @calebmer and @umbrant's migration at Airtable medium.com/airtable-eng/t… We used their codemod as the basis for the migration.
Has anyone measured the availability of us-east-1 vs. other AWS regions? I have a hypothesis that it's significant (like 99.9% vs. 99.99% uptime), making *not* being based in us-east-1 a competitive advantage for startups.

Kudos to @cronitorio for a simple product that just works. I needed failure notifications for some cronjobs running on my rPi, and with Cronitor, I was up and running in 15 minutes. Love it!

This thread is exactly the value proposition of @airtable. You want a low-code application platform, not a spreadsheet.
“$SAAS could be replaced with a spreadsheet” is something I have seen a few times. I think it misunderstands how users use software, how businesses run processes, and how SaaS products are built.
