This is an S21 FE from a user in Vietnam - I found it on Facebook. The number of white lines keeps increasing, even without any updates. The screen replacement cost is expensive, and if you sell the phone, you’ll only get a small amount after deducting the repair fee.
I normally keep it directly under the A.c while downloading and while installing the updates to make sure my phone remains cool theiughout the entire process

I've got plenty users in Uganda, Nigeria , Australia ,Egypt , Indonesia , Vietnam & many more countries where average temperature cross 35 degree Celsius , so I'm certain that it's not an India specific issue.
T think this green line issue pertains to Indians because in Ghana 🇬🇭 where i live i haven't experienced such ever.

I did that for my 1 month old S24U to install one UI 8. Downloaded update in ac room, let it sit, and then held the phone without cover right at the ac vent for ENTIRE time the update installed, and then let it sit for some more time before using it
With a brand like Samsung, people shouldn't have to worry about this in the first place, they're already paying a premium price. Samsung being the display leader should have created a display that's able to withstand atleast upto 85 degree Celsius the same way Oneplus is doing…
Am at location where in summers it reaches 50 °C , The main thing i noticed is that people don't acknowledge the phone overheating if it is due to ambient temp and in such cases the green line issue is common.
Can work if you live in hilly areas where temperatures doesn't cross 30 degree Celsius
I have another way. Make sure the phone is not heating. Download the update. Keep phone unused for more than 30 mins. And make sure the phone is not heated up. If you need to charge it, complete the charging let it cool down and then install the update
