All the low emission GW+ grids of the world use hydro. As hydro is suitable as a peaking plant, it makes low carbon grids possible. If Sth Australia gets its emission intensity to < 100 kg CO2/MWh without any hydro in 2027, a plausible possibility, that would be revolutionary.
