भगवद गीता ३.४२ इन्द्रियाणि पराण्याहुरिन्द्रियेभ्यः परं मनः मनसस्तु परा बुद्धिर्यो बुद्धेः परतस्तु सः Bhagavad Gita 3.42 It is said that senses are better (than body), but mind is above senses, Intellect is higher than mind & He (Soul) is even beyond & superior than intelligence.

Bhagavad Gita 3.41 तस्मात्त्वमिन्द्रियाण्यादौ नियम्य भरतर्षभ । पाप्मानं प्रजहि ह्येनं ज्ञानविज्ञाननाशनम् ॥🙏🏼 Therefore, O best of Bharatas (Arjun), first bring the senses under control and kill this sinful (lust) -the destroyer of knowledge and science of self realisation.🙏🏼

भगवद गीता ३.४० इन्द्रियाणि मनो बुद्धिरस्याधिष्ठानमुच्यते । एतैर्विमोहयत्येष ज्ञानमावृत्य देहिनम् ॥🙏🏼 Bhagavad Gita 3.40 It is said that senses, mind & intelligence are sitting places of this (lust), which covers (veils) wisdom (real knowledge) of embodied (Soul) & deludes him.

Bhagavad Gita 3.39 O Arjun, pure knowledge (consciousness) of even (discerning) wise person is covered by this eternal (constant) enemy in the form of desire for lust which is never satisfied & keeps burning like fire.🙏🏼 (Discerning person =wise who can judge what is not obvious.

भगवद गीता ३.३८ धूमेनाव्रियते वह्निर्यथादर्शो मलेन च । यथोल्बेनावृतो गर्भस्तथा तेनेदमावृतम्॥🙏🏼 Just as the fire is covered by smoke, a mirror by dust, and an embryo by the womb, similarly the knowledge (of the Self) gets covered by layers of that (lust).🙏🏼

Bhagavad Gita 3.37 Shree Krishna Bhagwan: It is lust alone (Arjun), born of the active mode of passion (RajjoGun), (& being unsatisfied) later gets transformed into anger (wrath). Know this (dissatisfied lust turned into anger) as all-devouring sin & greatest enemy of th world.🙏🏼

भगवद गीता ३.३६ अर्जुन उवाच । अथ केन प्रयुक्तोऽयं पापं चरति पूरुषः । अनिच्छन्नपि वार्ष्णेय बलादिव नियोजितः ॥🙏🏼 Bhagavad Gita 3.36 Arjuna: O descendant of Vrishni (Krishna), what is it by which one is incited to commit sinful acts, even unwillingly, and as if compelled by force.🙏🏼

Bhagavad Gita 3.35 It is far better to perform one’s own Dharma (prescribed duties) even if they may be faulty, than doing other’s duties perfectly. It is better to die while discharging one’s duty, because path of engaging in another’s duties is dangerous..🙏🏼

Bhagavad Gita 3.34 The attraction (attachment, affection), and aversion (repulsion hate, dislike) for objects of the senses is natural (unavoidable), but one should not come under their control, as they are obstacles in one’s path (to self-realisation).🙏🏼

Bhagavad Gita 3.33 (purport): What shall restrains achieve ? Even the knowledgable wise man acts in conformity with his own nature, as (all living) beings follow their nature (acquired from past lives’ Karma and present life’s dominant of the three gunas).🙏🏼

Bhagavad Gita 3.32 However those who out of envy, only find faults with My teachings and do not regularly practice them, are deluded ignorant fools without discriminatory knowledge and are doomed to their own destruction.🙏🏼

Bhagavad Gita 3.31 ये मे मतमिदं नित्यमनुतिष्ठन्ति मानवाः । श्रद्धावन्तोऽनसूयन्तो मुच्यन्ते तेऽपि कर्मभिः।। Those persons who always put into practise (& act upon) these teachings (opinions) of Mine, with full faith & without envy, are freed from karma bondage of fruitive actions.

Bhagavad Gita 3.30 (Therefore) with consciousness established into Self, by fully surrendering (offering) all activities unto Me, fight (O Arjun) without any sense of ownership, desire for gain, grief or lethargy. अध्यात्मचेतसा: Consciences firmly established in knowledge of Self

Bhagavad Gita 3.29 प्रकृतेर्गुणसम्मूढाः सज्जन्ते गुणकर्मसु । तानकृत्स्नविदो मन्दान्कृत्स्नविन्न विचालयेत् Learned should not disturb ignorant who due to imperfect knowledge is deluded by modes of material nature-Gunas & engage in material activities with attachment to results.

Bhagavad Gita 3.28: O Arjun, knowers of truth about divisions between gunas (modes of material nature) & karma (actions), understand its only gunas (thru mind & other senses) move among gunas (in form of objects of senses), & thus they do not get attached to fruitive activities.

Bhagavad Gita 3.27 प्रकृतेः क्रियमाणानि गुणैः कर्माणि सर्वशः । अहङ्कारविमूढात्मा कर्ताहमिति मन्यते॥ Modes of material nature (known as TriGunas of Satv, Rajasv & Tamas) carry out all activities. But soul, deluded by false ego, identifies self with body, & thinks himself as doer.

Bhagavad Gita 3.26 The wise men should not disrupt (confuse) minds of the ignorants who are attached to fruitive activities (& stop them). The learned should continue their activities without attachment and engage (encourage) ignorants for doing prescribed duties properly.🙏🏼
