The Vimy Flute is made from the rare wood of the Vimy Oaks. The Vimy Flute project is about honoring our Canadian soldiers at Vimy France and other conflicts.
This is Orville Babcock. I don't have much on his story other than he was part of the Canadian Scottish Regiment and was killed July 8th, 1944 at the age of 27. I believe he was from Rose Prairie British Columbia. I have chosen to colorize his photo and hope to use it in the app
This is William Charles Adams from Selkirk Manitoba. He enlisted with the Winnipeg Rifles & participated in the D-Day Landings. He was captured buy the12th S.S. and executed along with several other Canadians on June 8th, 1944. I have enhanced his picture as part of this project
