As soon as your partner purposely abused you without remorse and without repentance you were no longer in a marriage ordained by God. God does not sanctify or require an unholy union! Anyone who says differently doesn’t understand what God wants for his children. (In my opinion)!

I was part of a religious cult that taught divorce is wrong. I, too, made a terrible decision based on my circumstances in life at the time and married someone who turned out to be a covert narc. I had to get to the place where I had to do what I had to do for me and my sanity.
