I realized that forums where we only have 2-min per topic often allow candidates to sound good w/o having actual solutions (for ex. can you remember any solutions from this Mayoral race/forums?) As a result, I wanted to focus this page on election day real talk #KCMO #ElectionDay

If I make it, it would be great to partner with foundations on a $1million X-Prize for improving the accuracy of technology solutions in #KC that can instantly report to 911 that a shot has been fired, the exact location, direction and type. This would greatly help apprehension
I want to reduce how much student loans burden Kansas Citians! There are federal programs and opportunities to reduce that burden, but I believe that in order to structure them and allow us to take advantage as a City, we need an actual person dedicated to it inside City Hall.
#Twitch started in KC with @justinkan taking risks (and occasionally getting swatted) with #justintv without much support from the city. He built a $1billion+ tech company, but he had to move to do it. We have to do a MUCH better job helping future Justin's grow here!! #kc 2.0

The average age of a welder in the US right now is 57! An average retirement age for welders is 60. With welders commanding as high as $100k, and the US on track to have 400,000 unfilled welding jobs in 5 years, Why don't we prioritize #KC becoming a national leader in welding 🤷♂️
Honestly, I'm shocked that more young & mid-aged professionals aren't furious with us for not supporting them more, or even talking about what they need to grow and be great while staying in #KCMO. I guess the bar has just been set so low due to the lack of creativity in politics
I realized that outside of the @genKC @KCYFLib @kcur @ModernistsKC Forum, I hadn't heard anyone devote thought to solving problems for young professionals. Which is a shame bc we talk about what we care about! So here are my ideas, Share if you agree.. #KCMO #voteKC #ElectionDay
For example, it doesn't make sense that we are in dire need of people to work in IT, construction, welding, advanced manufacturing, healthcare (nurses, physician assistants, etc.), but don't implement citywide programs to have career concierges that know the open jobs give advice
We have high crime because we have low opportunities in certain neighborhoods. The key to REALLY addressing crime is to connect all of these careers that need people with the people who need them. That's on us as a city to prioritize above all else. #SolveRootCauses #kcmo #VoteKC

Why are the largest providers of mental health services in #kcmo the prisons? It costs us more as taxpayers than if we just did a better job making services available to anyone who wants or needs it. We have to be willing to go all-in and create a solution #ElectionDay thoughts.

That was fast. POTHOLES...We have allocated more money for them and you should start to see them getting fixed pretty soon. This winter heated and cooled much more than in the past. But still, sorry for all of the profane language we've caused you to say while driving! #sorrymom
